Meet outside the tea shack at Ogwen Cottage for a 9.00 start – get there early if you want a parking spot. The route takes in Cneifion Arete, the Gribin Ridge, Glyder Fawr and either down the Devil’s Kitchen or up Y Garn depending on what people want to do. Walkers can bypass Cneifion Arete and follow the path up onto the Gribin Ridge. Cneifion Arete is a grade 3, 2 star scramble and is not recommended for novices, CMC members have been badly injured on this route in the past. Bring what you deem to be necessary based on your level of experience and competence. A helmet is a must and a harness advised unless you plan to solo. I will bring a scrambling rope and a few slings.
